Transponder keys are similar to regular car keys made of metal with the exception of the plastic cap that houses the transponder. This type of key comes in various cuts, such as a standard, laser, or sidewinder. Some transponder keys have a key blade, while others are completely bladeless.

In addition to transmitting an unique identification code, some transponder keys can also be activated with the remote control. This type of key can be programmed to lock and unlock your car's doors, turn on the engine, and turn off the lights. It is also able to activate the panic button if you are in an accident.

Keys to VATS
